The total fertitlity rate is 6.7 children per women, the second highest in the world after Niger.
This high fertility is impacting negatively both the development progress of Uganda (we are shooting at a fast moving target; not an easy job!)
but also it puts mothers at risk of suffering from adverse outcomes of pregnancy given our unsatisfatory health system.
