Can mother-to-child transmission of HIV be eliminated?

  1. Yes mother-to-child transmission can be eliminated.Surely we have seen it with developed countries. We just have to get more Health staff available who actually understand what PMTCT means and are up to speed with the policy changes, get mothers to know that this is important and slow this whole 'animal' called population growth. If more women have less children, there will be less health personnel struggling to extend PMTCT services to every birthing mother.
