The Uganda Safe-Birth Organization (TUSBO) helps mothers in various communities access maternal health services. We work with vulnerable populations through designing public health strategies that increase access to affordable and high quality RH services; we carry out RH advocacy; and improve the quality of RH services; our motto is "Mother alive with her baby; baby alive with its mother"
Yes mother-to-child transmission can be eliminated.Surely we have seen it with developed countries. We just have to get more Health staff available who actually understand what PMTCT means and are up to speed with the policy changes, get mothers to know that this is important and slow this whole 'animal' called population growth. If more women have less children, there will be less health personnel struggling to extend PMTCT services to every birthing mother.
